No. We’d love for you to come every week, but you don’t need to.

Our Cafés are made for an intermediate level or a Canadian Language Benchmark level 5/6. We hope to have Cafés for other levels in the future.

All of our Café volunteers have a minimum English level of CLB 8. Our volunteers may be
Canadians, native English speakers, or internationals.

All of our volunteers are trained to facilitate a Conversation Café, but most of them are not certified English language learning (ELL) teachers.
